The Butcher's Harvest: Batch #6 - Whole Hog BBQ

Hot Food! Hot Music! Cold Beer! Good Friends! Good Vibes! Bad Ass!

Join us for the first in a series of Whole Hog BBQ events this summer. Each evening will showcase a different musical act to set the vibe and we'll be serving up some incredible BBQ using responsibly sourced local meats and vegetables. The backyard will be set up with games, hula hoops, and water toys for the kiddos. Don't fret - there will be beer and wine specials for the adults!

Common Tongue can best describe their sound as passive-aggressive lounge jazz (at best). Offering a dynamic blend of jazz fusion, hip-hop, prog-rock and funk, aimed at attracting a wide demographic of listeners, and uniting them under a common tongue. Not alone, yet a large proponent of the future of Jazz in the Hudson Valley.

That's right! Kids eat FREE (8 years and under). Well, $1 + fees - suggested minumum ticket fee will be donated to SNUG Poughkeepsie!

SNUG is an evidence-based street outreach program based on the Cure Violence Model in Chicago, which treats gun violence like a disease by identifying its causes and interrupting its transmission. The program focuses on youth between the ages of 14 and 24 who are at high risk for involvement with gun violence. The SNUG team develops and implements risk-reduction strategies to reduce that involvement with the goal of saving lives and helping individuals turn their lives around.
